In Puglia a "Masseria" is a farm and "Pietrosa" means stony referring to poor, stony soils in which the vines of this estate lie. The estate is part of the excellent San Marzano co-operative and the wines show excellent value with great freshness and scented fruit character. This is a fantastic representative of the quality that has been produced. It has really beautiful rich aromas that evolve and evolve, while the palate proves its worth in rich black fruits, spices and big tannins.
