If you put your ear to the bottle you can almost hear Claire whooping it up as she rides round the block on a Harley. This is one of her all time favourites and it hasn't lost its touch as the years go on. The 2007 is a blend of 75% Shiraz and 25% Grenache aged for 12 months in seasoned oak. Deep crimson in colour it reveals a fragrant bouquet of cedar, scorched earth, pencil lead, black cherry and blueberry, while the palate has an elegant personality with racy, slightly tart, fruit flavours, good concentration and a silky soft finish. Fantastic !!
