What a wine!! Full bodied but not too rich it has delightful earthy aromas of blackberry, black cherry and even violets, along with undertones of anise and spices. Once tasted there are the same succulent black fruits with a little oak and fine tannins. All in all, elegant, rounded and well balanced. A good wine for mushroomy pasta sauces, roast lamb of hard cheeses.
