Odfjell are another brilliant winery to keep your eyes on and this unusual Cabernet Franc is no exception. The smell is the first thing to quite literally hit you, incessant sweet and sublime creamy ripe raspberries with black cherries and cassis. Incredible !! The palate has all the aroma characters, yet is very dry with great tannins and a very long finish. This wine is brilliant but is definitely a food wine and needs a robust steak or even a juicy lamb to bring out its very best.
