A rhone style blend, this was initially the Australian equivalent of Chateauneuf de Pape but now it has evolved onto a class of its own. It has a gorgeous dark red berry and plum fruitiness with spicy, earthy musk undertones with hints of liquorice, cinnamon and an overall savoury style to it. A great red to go with rustic herb infused alpine stews, warming cassoulets or charcuterie.
