Ribera O Fournier is the third estate in Jose Manuel Ortegas winery empire and both Jancis Robinson and Steven Spurrier have highlighted Jose as world class producer. His mission is to become one of the most outstanding wineries in Argentina and after tasting many of his wines I would say he seems to be happily right on track. This a stunning example of his top of the range wines but will really benefit from opening the day before you drink it. It goes on and on with waves upon waves of great aromas and flavours. Think dark broody fruit, spices, coffee, chocolate, tobacco and all other things that little boys are made of.
