What a find this turned out to be as none of us had tasted Godello before, and what a bargain it is. It stems from the Galicia region, a little like an Albarino and is delightful. It has very floral aromas with subtle apricot and nectarine citrus notes with a full, slightly honeyed spicy palate which is also dry and refreshing. Bizarre but very tasty and would be great with white meats or meaty fish.
