Torrontes is a charming and unusual grape and this one is the nicest i've ever tasted. It comes from vineyards 5500 feet above sea level (yes, that's very high) and is very aromatic with aromas of tropical fruit, jasmine and elderflower while on the palate it is again quite floral, tropical and a little minerally, viscous yet dry and refreshing. Bizarre !! It is fantastic with spicy Asian food.
