This wine is from Ige, one of the Maconnais' top villages. Ch√Ęteau London refers to the specific vineyard or 'lieu-dit'. The average age of the vines is approximately 20 years and the yield is 7,000 vines per hectare. The soils are stony with some clay and a high proportion of chalk. The grape is a clone of Chardonnay, Chardonnay-Muscate, which gives the typical structure, poise and freshness of Chardonnay together with the aromatic expression of Muscat.

An expressive nose with aromas of white flowers, white peach, citrus layered with rich buttery notes. This wine is round with lovely fruit concentration on the palate lifted by fresh acidity. The finish is long and lively.
