The South African wine industry is having its moment in the sun. Though winemaking has been part of South Africa’s history for over three hundred years and some of the current favourites are represented by some of these old families, it is the explosion of recent offerings from this region that are so exciting. A revolution in SA wine making is currently taking place and the result is beguiling. Adam Renwick, until recently Sommelier for House of Tides, will give us some of the great examples that are currently available and apply his specialist knowledge to enlighten us to just why it all tastes so good.
