Fancy your chances distinguishing French wines from those grown from the same grapes elsewhere? Now is your chance in this fun evening based on the ‘Judgement of Paris’. Our very own ‘Judgement of Elmfield Road’ . This famous event from the last century challenged French oenologists to judge and distinguish between French and Californian wines and the Californians won, much to the chagrin of the French. So we are going to taste blind, 8 wines and guess which ones are French grapes and which are from elsewhere. The inspiration for the judgement was the late, great, Steven Spurrier and for us that role will be played by the fabulous Laura Bennet.
