From the Red Hills of Lake County, dark fruit dominates the core of this wine, black cherry, dried cranberry and black plum stain the palate. Rustic with notes of leather and crushed tobacco leaves, the mouthfeel is sturdy, yet with a soft edge. Aging in 60% new French oak and 40% neutral American oak for nearly 36 months.
