This is sourced from a single vineyard, the excellent Beeswax Vineyard in Arroyo Seco in Monterey County. As the name suggests this vineyard has a habit of producing wines with a distinctive savoury beeswax aroma.
Fermented in stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain the irresistible natural freshness of the Picpoul grapes.
Lip-smackingly fresh, with lemon-and-lime citrus, a hint of peach and white flowers, along with a distinctive flavour of beeswax. A brilliant wine that is both easy-going and complex, all achieved at a lower alcohol level than most Californian wines.
