Pulenta Estate Gran Corte VII

The Pulenta Family has been linked to Argentine viticulture for four generations. The children of the winemaker Antonio Pulenta and descendants of Italian immigrants, Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta, gave birth to Pulenta Estate in 2002, bringing experience and the most skilled workforce.
Pulenta Estate has 2 vineyards located in the main wine-producing areas of Mendoza. Finca La Zulema in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo and Viñedos Don Antonio in Los Árboles, Tunuyán.

Blend of 5 grapes fermented separately varying their composition every harvest: Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Tannat. Hand harvest grapes undergoing 48hs of cold maceration at 8°C, and complete maceration for 21 days. Fermentation in small stainless steel tanks, roll fermentors and oak barrels. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation happens in barrels.12 months aging in French oak barrels. 20% new, 40% second use and 40% third use.

The wine has an attractive, intense red with dark tones colour. It expresses fruit notes of plum, cherry, and dark fruits, with several spices like thyme, oregano, and black pepper, given by some of the components of the blend, which make the wine delicate and complex. On the palate it is elegant but structured, with a persistent finish making it a wine hard to forget.
