The Pulenta Family has been linked to Argentine viticulture for four generations. The children of the winemaker Antonio Pulenta and descendants of Italian immigrants, Eduardo and Hugo Pulenta, gave birth to Pulenta Estate in 2002, bringing experience and the most skilled workforce.
Pulenta Estate has 2 vineyards located in the main wine-producing areas of Mendoza. Finca La Zulema in Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo and Viñedos Don Antonio in Los Árboles, Tunuyán.
Grapes are harvest manually, undergoing alcoholic fermentation 50% in stainless steel tanks and 50% in French oak barrels. 50% of wine goes through spontaneous malolactic fermentation in barrels then aged in french new oak barrels for 9 months.
This Chardonnay has a beautiful lemon-yellow colour with a bright green hue. Full of tropical fruit aromas and notes of toasted almonds and honey from aging in French oak. The palate is intense and smooth with balanced acidity and a long elegant finish.
