Founded in 1998, Viña Falernia has built a reputation as a high quality winery. Located in the Elqui Valley, Falernia remains one of Chile’s northernmost wine estates at 530 km North of Santiago.
A third of the Carménère grapes are dried in the Amarone style, filling out the palate with succulence. Expressive floral and leather notes, a powerful, peppery palate and a long, intense finish.
The wine shows a good fruit concentration and on the nose black pepper, red fruit and dark chocolate. Great body with soft tannins on the palate.
